DIPL.-ING. LANDSCAPE PLANNING (TU BERLIN)

I am a freelance landscape architect, environmental planner, writer and specialist translator. Being based in Barcelona, a city renowned for its architecture, innovative urban transformations and creative scene, I am surrounded by inspiring projects, people and landscapes.

I undertake research on a variety of topics from climate change adaption, green infrastructure and urban strategies to detailed landscape architecture and public space projects. I love being able to share and communicate these insights through my consultancy work, articles and translations, as well as study tours and design studios.

During 15 years of work as a landscape architect in private practices and universities around Australia, Germany and Spain, I was able to gain valuable project design and management experience, which includes large-scale urban design projects, green roofs and play spaces. This allows for a unique insight into the differences and similarities of specific local contexts, particularly hot climate regions. My aspiration is to explore further how the different regions can learn from each other.

In my free time I am an avid urban gardener, trying to learn how to grow vegetables in a sustainable and organic way in our community garden Hort de la Font Trobada.
